History

It all started in Kyiv, or rather, in the forests around it. I grew up on the outskirts of the city, spending a lot of time alone in the woods. Time slipped by as I reflected on the world, on myself, on my existence within the world, and the world within me.

Life itself can be summed up in one word: "MOVEMENT."
The roots of a tree grow downward to find water and nutrients, collaborating with fungi, bacteria, and various forms of life. Its branches and leaves reach upward and outward to capture more light.
The tree’s fruits scatter seeds to propagate, also serving as food for animals and birds that help protect the tree from pests.

But humans were the FIRST to start asking questions - many questions.

And so, I took on the responsibility to try to answer at least a spectrum of the questions within me. That’s how "SHO" came to be.
The very name inspired me to seek and improve. That’s human nature - we must keep moving.

In these long, philosophical walks, the idea of "ШО" began to take shape. "ШО" (sho) translates from Ukrainian as "what", the question each person on the planet asks themselves every day. It’s not just any question; we search for the world within ourselves and for ourselves within the world throughout our lives. This is "SHO" the embodiment of the search and the attempt to find the question.
